In November – December 2020, crew from our Sea Shepherd Australia – Marine Debris Campaign from Western Australia carried out a two-week remote multi-island clean-up at the Cocos Keeling Islands, 2,750 kilometres northwest of Perth.
Our crew wasted no time kicking off their first day on West Island removing a huge mass of rope from the lagoon estimated to weigh around a tonne.
