The Seven Non-Commitments of the French Government to Protect Dolphins

The French government recently announced a seven-point action plan to fight against the so-called accidental capture of dolphins and other cetaceans by fishing vessels in the Bay of Biscay. However, this plan is mostly a list of measures that already exist, some for a decade, and others which have already proven ineffective in stopping the slaughter of thousands of dolphins every year.

What can we do to make a difference? Help Sea Shepherd continue our campaign to shed a light on these issues from the frontlines. And don’t forget you can also cut down on the demand for fish by changing what you put on your own plate. 🙂
