Rey’s Story: The Dark Side of UMass

Rey was a tiny marmoset monkey, named after the “Star Wars” character, who was imprisoned and tortured in the University of Massachusetts–Amherst (UMass) laboratory of Agnès Lacreuse. This disturbing video of Rey, obtained by PETA, shows her being forced to engage in useless experiments purportedly to study menopause—which marmoset monkeys don’t experience.

Monkeys still held captive in Lacreuse’s laboratory need your help. Take action to urge UMass to end its experiments on marmosets: PETA.org/Amherst.
