Nell’edizione del TG1 delle ore 13.30 di martedì 15 ottobre 2013, un servizio a cura di Roberta Badaloni ha mostrato in anteprima in Italia le immagini dell’operazione congiunta che ha portato alla chiusura di 33 rivenditori di carne di cane e gatto all’interno del mercato ‘I Tre Uccelli’ di Dali (Sud della Cina) e di un macello clandestino poco distante dal mercato.

Tutto questo in seguito alla pubblicazione dell’indagine di Animal Equality e alla stretta collaborazione con gli attivisti cinesi del Gruppo Volontari di Guangzhou che assieme alle forze dell’ordine cinesi hanno coordinato sul territorio la chiusura ed il sequestro di circa 600 tra cani e gatti.
