When Taal volcano erupted in January 2020, PETA rushed to the scene to save dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, goats, ducks, horses, herons, and doves from the volcanic island, even though officials were warning of a large eruption still to come.

Now, more than 100 animals PETA rescued have been adopted! They would have likely died if not for PETA’s rescue efforts.
