Abuse of Elephants at Garden Bros. Circus

At a recent performance of the Garden Bros. Circus, which uses elephants from the Carson & Barnes Circus, elephant handler Anthony Frisco was seen hitting, pulling, and jabbing elephants Viola and Isa with a bullhook at least 20 times in a matter of minutes. Bullhooks are sharp weapons that resemble fireplace pokers and are used to beat elephants into submission. They’ve been banned in a number of cities as well as California and Rhode Island. Please visit PETA.org to learn more and never attend a circus that uses animals.
