At Sandown, Racing Victoria security were on force, attempting to prevent the Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses from filming the jumps race. However, on this day it appeared that protesters outnumbered spectators, and we were able to capture the fall of Hooker Race.

Hooker Road fell on the final hurdle on the first lap, throwing his jockey from his back.

Luckily neither horse nor jokey appeared to sustain any serious injury.
