Sorry for the shaky video!

About 8 weeks ago, Animal Place staff discovered a speckled orphaned fawn tottering around the cow pasture. After consults with wildlife rehabbers, the decision was made to leave the fawn alone – she was too big and healthy to catch. She was in a pasture with fresh browse, acorns, water and bovine protectors.

8 weeks later here she is – no more spots, much bigger, still healthy and happy. We’re rooting for her survival so much and hope she finds some deer friends soon!
