L214 révèle aujourd’hui une nouvelle enquête dans l’abattoir communal du Boischaut, dans l’Indre. Les images, difficilement soutenables, ont été tournées fin août et début septembre 2018. Seulement 19 heures de tournage auront suffi à capter de nombreuses violations de la loi encadrant les conditions de mise à mort des animaux. L214 porte plainte auprès du procureur de la République de Châteauroux pour maltraitance et actes de cruauté. Par ailleurs, les règles élémentaires en matière d’hygiène ne sont pas respectées. L’association demande à la préfecture la fermeture immédiate de l’établissement. En 2016, un rapport accablant des services vétérinaires avait déjà identifié des non-conformités majeures qu’on retrouve dans cette nouvelle enquête, deux ans plus tard.
