Crocodiles Electroshocked, Stabbed, Pumped Full of Compressed Air—All for Leather

A PETA investigator visited four farms and, on each one, recorded the living conditions of captive crocodiles exploited for their skin. The investigator obtained footage showing crocodiles with their mouths tied shut stuffed into bags to prevent them from moving and piled up on the floor. Workers electroshocked them, probably with a car battery, stabbed them with a metal blade, and then inflated their bodies with compressed air to make it easier to skin them. Some crocodiles were seen still moving as workers attempted to kill them.
