Jumps racing continues to disappoint with horses falling at an alarmingly high rate. Many horses will sustain injuries from hitting the obstacles and/or landing awkwardly resulting in retirement and a very bleak future.
Jumps proponents claim these horse are saved from the knackery yet it is in reality on a brief and often painful reprieve.
