Circus Forced Jenny the Elephant to Give Rides by Pulling on Her Trunk

Just months before her death, Jenny was seen hobbling along under the weight of a heavy ride saddle and eight riders at a Carden family-produced Elf Khurafeh Shrine Circus performance. Although she appears barely able to walk, a handler forced her to move by pulling on her sensitive trunk and repeatedly poking her chin with a bullhook—a sharp weapon resembling a fireplace poker used to beat elephants used for circuses during training.
