In 2019, PETA exposed the extreme suffering and abuse of monkeys who are forced to pick coconuts for Thailand’s coconut industry. While some retailers around the world have agreed to stop supporting this cruelty, PETA’s latest footage from mid-2020 reveals that monkeys are still being kept chained on coconut farms. The coconut industry and Thai government are doing nothing to remove monkeys from the coconut-picking process and may even be supporting monkey labor. Please urge Thailand’s coconut industry to stop using monkey labor. Take action at PETA.org/coconuts.
